Calculation

The calculation of the cost of goods is intended to estimate the cost of goods according to the FIFO method:

Two calculation options are available: closing and recalculation .

In case of recalculation, the cost will be calculated using the FIFO method, but the system will allow you to register transactions further (in the calculated period).
In the case of closure, the same calculation will be performed, only the system will no longer allow registering transactions related to goods in the closed period.
In both cases, it is not possible to delete the registered transaction with the product. In this case, the recalculation or closing should be canceled.

Attention : if the recalculation is done and you want to close the goods, you must first cancel the recalculation and only then start the closing.

Canceling the calculation

Recalculation or closing cancellation is performed by clicking on the date link of the desired row (first column). In the opened form:

we choose Cancel cost price recalculation .

Attention: in the case of more products (>1000) and a higher number of transactions, it is recommended to do the closing not once a year, but every month.
