Transfer between warehouses

This journal type is used to transfer items between warehouses or between other dimensions (batch and package), if used. The upper part consists of:

Basic information

Journal number – a unique journal number assigned by the system.
Comment
 – ​​a description or note of the journal.
Transaction date
 – the date the transaction was registered.
From warehouse – indicates the proposed warehouse from which the goods are transferred when entering lines.
To warehouse – indicates the proposed warehouse to which the transferred goods are transferred when entering lines.

Attributes

Department – ​​suggested department when creating new lines.
Project – suggested project when creating new lines.
Product – suggested product when creating new lines.

The journal lines section consists of the following fields:

Where from/to warehouse, batch and package are displayed depends on the product dimensions setting. The field descriptions are as follows:

Item – select the product code.
Item name – transfer the product name from the product card.
From warehouse – specify the warehouse from which the product is being transferred.
From series – specify the series from which the product is being transferred.
From package – specify the package from which the product is being transferred.
Quantity – enter the quantity of the product to be transferred.
To warehouse – specify the warehouse to which the product is being transferred.
To serial no. – specify the series to which the product is being transferred.
To package no. – specify the package to which the product is being transferred.
